The first newsletter is done!

It’s done and out in the world! I’ve finally figured out how to set up an email newsletter! One of my goals for 2018 is to try new things and learn new skills.The birth of the newsletter certainly ticks those boxes! If you are interested in the newsletter popping into your inbox please subscribe on the home page of the website or on the facebook page. Below is the text of the first one to give you an idea what will be in the newsletters. I did try but couldn’t figure out how to copy the newsletter but … small steps!

Welcome to my first newsletter and thank you for subscribing. Next year is going to be exciting with the release of three new books! Yes three!

It’s been two years since Meaghan Thomson and I published You can do it Joey! and we’ve had an amazing experience sharing Joey’s story with people from all over Australia and around the world. We are teaming up again to publish a series of three chapter books, for readers aged 6 – 8.

I hope to send out a newsletter at the end of each month to keep you up-to-date with what’s happening with You can do it Joey! and the new books. I promise sneak peeks as Meaghan sends through illustrations. For those of you who know me well, technology is not my friend! Setting up this email subscription was going well until it was time to create a sign up box on the website. I’d figured it all out until then and it fell apart quite dramatically when I deleted most of my home page and had no idea how to get it back. After a series of frantic calls and messages to Meaghan she fixed it in five minutes!

For now I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year and I look forward to sharing my news with you during the next few months.
